I started a blog to enter a contest

I am posting on I guess my first blog. I have no idea what I am doing, but the typing thing is working so I must be doing it right. I wanted to enter a contest that you had to follow a blog. Little did i know in order to follow a blog I ended up with a blog. Does this count as getting a freebie ? Oh well it's late I am tired and today is my 7th anniversary so I am heading to bed. i will ask my son more about this situation tomorrow ,when I can think.
